C’est toujours avec un grand plaisir que je vous écris pour partager les entretiens de Thinking Africa et Trust Africa lors de la première conférence panafricaine de la société civile des pays en situation devant la CPI sur les mécanismes nationaux et internationaux dans la lutte contre l’impunité des crimes internationaux en Afrique (mai 2015). Une nouvelle fois, nous remercions les intervenants pour leur disponibilité et leur attention.

Dans ce cinquième entretien, Jérôme Nengowe Amunda (RDC), avocat au barreau auprès de la Cour d’appel de Kinshasa et membre de la LIPADHOJ (Ligue pour la Paix, les droits de l’Homme et la justice), évoque la situation actuelle de la lutte contre l’impunité de crimes internationaux en RDC et de la mise en œuvre du principe de complémentarité.

Dans ce sixième entretien, Daniel Zendabila Bundya (RDC), coordonnateur provincial de la Fondation congolaise pour la promotion des droits humains et la paix (FOCDP) revient sur la perception de la justice par les victimes et les communautés affectées à l’Est de la RDC.

Ci-dessous notre plus récente entrevue : Pr. Mamadou Badji, agrégé des facultés de droit et doyen de la faculté de droit de l’Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (Sénégal), présente ses travaux de recherche sur les droits de l’Homme et l’esclavage au Sénégal et en Mauritanie. Il expose également les enjeux stratégiques africains contemporains.

It is again a pleasure for me to share Thinking Africa’s interviews during the first Pan-African Conference of Civil society in countries involved with the ICC in DRC (May 2015). Titled “Assessing national and international mechanisms in fighting against impunity for international crimes in Africa”, the conference was organized by Trust Africa and the National Coalition for ICC in DRC. Once again, we would like to thank the participants for their availability and kind attention.

In this fifth interview, Jérôme Nengowe Amunda (DRC), lawyer at the Kinshasa appeal court and member of the League for Peace, Human Rights and Justice (LIPADHOJ) provides an overview of the current situation in fighting against impunity for international crimes in DRC as well as the implementation of the complementarity principles in international law.
